SOWER is a pre- and post-processor for the computational modules AERO-F and AERO-S. It performs mainly the following tasks:
Generates the appropriate binary input files needed for the (parallel) execution of AERO-F and/or AERO-S |
Assembles the distributed binary output (result) files generated by AERO-F and/or AERO-S and converts them into the ASCII format for visualization purposes |
SOWER also performs other miscellaneous input/output file transformations that are described in SOWER’s User's Reference Manual. Both serial and parallel executions of AERO-F require the generation for this computational module of appropriate binary input files using SOWER. Similar binary files can also be generated by SOWER for AERO-S but are not necessary for its execution neither on serial nor on parallel machines.
